About Us

We fell in love with miniature dachshunds & couldn't imagine life without them! Dachshund means "Badgerhound"-they are smart (one of mine knows how to jump & turn lever doorknobs), loyal and affectionate. They are wonderful with children and easily trained.

We are a human family of 5 and a pet family of 7. We have 3 girls (Dixie-AKC Meika-AKC and Mindy-CKC) . We added a little boy 2 years ago (Kiffen-AKC). We also have had a Great Pyrenees mix for about 10 years (Daisy). And, 2 cats-Mickey & Jade-who love to play with all of them.

Our puppies will have had at least 3 wormings and their first set of vaccinations by the time they are ready to go. They will be on a mix of moist and dry food or dry food if they are older-let us know if there is a brand you prefer when making a deposit and we will try our best to start them on that brand. We used to start paper training early, but, learned puppies aren't really ready to learn until they are 8 weeks old. We also learned puppies pick up a bad habit of going on any paper or even clothing from this method. We do start a crate style training with them-as even puppies will not go where they eat. I am a stay at home mom-so, I take them outside regularly and praise them when they go there. They are well socialized with children, a cat and other dogs.

"Fine print"

*We require a $100 non-refundable fee to hold a puppy for you. At 7 weeks, the balance is due & the puppy will be ready to go home.

*We are in the boonies, so we will meet any buyers up to one hour away for delivery of the puppy (Cookeville & Knoxville are one hour for us). I will go up to 3 hours away with a add'l $50 gas fee.

*We accept paypal with an add'l 5% surcharge or cash for deposits & balance. We will accept personal checks for deposit only (but we will deposit it right away).
